Training Conference
In keeping withour commitment to training and ongong suport, Wear Nothing are pleased to invite you to a two day IPL conference on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in October 2009. The conference will give IPL operators a unique chance to update their technical and safety skills as well as meet other operators of IPL systems that have been purchased from Wear Nothing.
During the conference you will be able to:
- Listen to Trudy Fleming talk on all things IPL
- Get introductions to photo dynamic therapy, LED, microdermabrasion and spray tanning
- Meet the manufacturer of your machine
- Meet fellow operators and swap ideas
- Meet the staff from Wear Nothing!
The conference has a maximum capacity of 80 delegates and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Owners of IPL systems purchased from Wear Nothing will be given first preference but some spaces may be available for customers who are simply interested in IPL.
The presenters
Trudy Fleming
 | Many of you will already have met Trudy when you trained with her before you started your IPL business. Trudy is an industry recognised and well respected, internationally qualified Laser and IPL technician and electrologist with more than 30 years experience in the industry. |
Trudy has trained in all modalities of advanced electrolysis, Intense Pulsed Light, and laser based hair removal systems in addition to photo-rejuvenation and vascular. She is also a Graduate of the Australian defense force and SUS medical laser safety programs, holds UK accredited Laser and IPL qualifications as well as being a qualified teacher (Melbourne University graduate), workplace trainer and assessor and lecturer with international presentation experience to beauty, dermatological and medical conferences. Trudy also holds a Qld Radiation Health Use Licence and Radiation Safety Officer Certificate.
Marshall Segan
 | Having had many years directly operating a high end laser and cosmetic medicine clinic, and more recently being involved as a high tech equipment importer and supplier, Marshall with business experience in a number of different industries as well as cosmetic medicine, understands clearly that many clinics are looking for extra guidance and strategies to improve their business operations and more effectively market their skills and businesses to current and future clients. |
Marshall will introduce delegates to photo dynamic therapy which will be new to most salon owners, which can add significantly to your IPL business and business growth. He will also cover effective marketing strategies (internal and external) for your business, something which we are sure will be of interest and value for your clinic.
Marshall strongly believes that often we can use existing resources better rather than throwing extra money on projects which may not have a “pay-back”
James Hay
 | James is well known to most of you. He is the owner and Managing Director of Wear Nothing Pty Ltd. A chartered accountant by profession James is now committed to developing the world’s finest IPL systems. |
Peter Chui
 | Peter is the owner and Managing Director of Med Apolo, one of the leading manufacturers of IPL systems in the world today. Peter, who is originally from Taiwan, has been an integral part of the development of the Spectrum 2000 IPL system and whilst he will not be giving a formal talk at the conference he will be available to talk to throughout the event. Peter is a university graduate in engineering and he moved to Shanghai to establish Med Apolo in 2003.

Conference Cost
The conference cost is $200 + gst per delegate which covers all costs of the presenters, conference facilities, welcome drinks, lunch on both days as well as coffee, tea and other beverages.
Accommodation
We have negotiated special rates wit the Novotel Twin Waters for delegates that would like to stay at the hotel for the duration of the conference. This special rate extends to the day before and the day after the conference should you wish to extend your stay in the sunshine.

Getting there
The Novotel is situated only five minutes form the Sunshine Coast Airport and there is a regular shuttle bus operated by the Novotel for guests arriving at the airport. There are regular flights on JetStar, Virgin Blue and Tiger Airways from the major cities.
