You do not have to be a medical professional to become involved in S-IPL through MagicSkin. You do however, need a background in beauty therapy to fulfil the pre-requisites to complete the certification in S-IPL at the Fleming Institute. For those who do not have this background, there is a correspondence bridging course you can complete to fulfil the prerequisites for the course. Included in the price of your equipment is a one week training course at the Fleming Institute of Aesthetic Technology in Melbourne. We searched Australia for the finest training in Intense Pulse Light and the Flemming Institute came out top!

Many equipment suppliers offer an on site training course of one or two days, but we prefer that you study for a nationally recognised qualification for you and your staff before embarking on Intense Pulse Light treatments. In fact if you wish to become a MagicSkin salon we insist that all staff are trained professionally before being allowed to treat the public.

Included in the price of our machines is the one week course in Melbourne for 2 staff members. Transport and accommodation in Melbourne is not included, however the courses are usually attended by other salons from out of Melbourne, so we can sometimes help out by grouping attendees in 2 or 3 bedroom apartments within walking distance of the training centre to help you keep costs down.
